What I Sold My Home is

An educational and organizational tool for homeowners who want to sell their own property in British Columbia. It provides general information, checklists, and private storage for your documents, photos, and drafts.

What it isn't

• We are not a real estate brokerage and are not licensed by the BC Financial Services Authority. We don't represent you, advise you on price, show your property, negotiate, present offers, or hold deposits.
• We don't provide legal, tax, financial, or real estate advice, and we don't replace a realtor, lawyer, notary, or accountant.
• We don't list properties on the MLS® system or publish your listing anywhere unless you choose an add-on that does. Listing drafts are private.
• We don't prepare contracts of purchase and sale, property disclosure statements, or other legal documents.
• We don't guarantee any outcome, sale price, timeline, or savings.

Information may not apply to you

Our guidance is general, may not apply to every transaction, and can become out of date. Each topic links to official sources with the date we last reviewed them. You are responsible for verifying information and for decisions about your sale. A licensed professional's advice may be necessary.

AI features

AI-generated summaries and drafts can be inaccurate, incomplete, or misleading. They are not advice and never confirm that a property or document is complete, compliant, or problem-free. Always check the original documents and review any draft before using it.

Advice from partner realtors

You can ask a licensed BC realtor from our partner network for advice at any step. Partner realtors are independent licensees: their advice is provided by them and their brokerage, under their own terms, and not by I Sold My Home. The realtor confirms the price with you before anything is booked, and nothing is charged until you agree. Asking for advice doesn't create a listing agreement or an agency relationship unless you sign one with the realtor's brokerage.

Planned add-ons

Optional paid add-ons, such as MLS® listing through a partner brokerage, recommended photographers, a feature on the I Sold My Home Instagram page, AI virtual staging, and document review, are planned, not available. When we offer them, each will show its price before you choose it. Services that require a licence will be provided by appropriately licensed third parties under separate terms, and AI-staged images will be labelled as virtually staged.

Your responsibilities

• Only upload content you have the right to store, and keep your password secure.
• Don't use the service to mislead buyers or for any unlawful purpose.

The selling plan and tools are offered free of charge during this early preview. Features may change or be discontinued, and we may contact you about material changes. Keep your own copies of important documents.
